Ms. Sharlene (Green Class)
Miss Sharlene is our longest tenured teacher at AMA. She spent two years studying Early Childhood Education prior to earning her Montessori AMS Early Childhood Credential. Miss Sharlene is our Green Class Head Teachers and began her teaching career at AMA in 2001. Over the last 22 years, she has been known for her intense love for her students, as well as her personal and individual care for each child. Miss Sharlene is a mother to Destiny (who is 19 and an alumni of Red Class), has a twin sister and a younger sister as well. She loves her bunny named Jasper and her two dogs, Levi & Wrangler.
Ms. Anjuli (Red Class)
Hello, my name is Miss Anjuli and I am so excited to have your children in my class this year! I have worked in the field of Education in a variety of different settings, since 2014. I have taught with both the San Juan Unified School District and the Catholic Diocese. I have attended Sierra College, and Sacramento State and am continuing my education even to this day. A little fun fact about me is that I played water polo throughout high school and college! I have a five-year-old son named Liam, as well as two, big, black labs, Sophie and Mickey. I love the great outdoors and spend most of my time on trails, and at parks. My favorite season is winter! I love DIY projects and doing creative art projects with the students. I look forward to this fun filled year, and all the learning and activities we will be doing!
